Michał Owerczuk has received a Special Award at the Seoul International AI Film Festival for his western “Broken Arrow”, created for Fairground TV as part of the True Crime - Wild West show.
Marking his first time submitting an AI project to a festival, Owerczuk shared that he would not have applied without the support and encouragement of Massimo Benvegnu and the Machine Cinema gang, as well as the energy of the Fairground crew. The production utilized tools including ComfyUI, Vidu AI, ElevenLabs, Topaz Labs, and Adobe.
Thanking Colin Petrie-Norris for the opportunity, Owerczuk revealed that this initial recognition is just the start of the film’s festival run, with twenty-five more festivals ahead across destinations from Seoul to Amsterdam, Los Angeles, and Buenos Aires.
