About Michal
Michal J. Owerczuk is a filmmaker, creative technologist, and journalist with over 15 years of experience at the intersection of cinema, video games, interactive media, and artificial intelligence.
He holds a degree in Film Directing, along with academic training in cognitive and cultural studies, and has completed studies in Machine Learning. His background is further enriched by multiple masterclasses in filmmaking, narrative design, and AI-driven storytelling, supported by institutions such as Google and NVIDIA.
Michal began his professional journey at Sony Computer Entertainment. Today, he works across Europe, North America, and Asia, blending traditional filmmaking techniques with real-time production pipelines and generative AI tools. He specializes in hybrid formats that integrate live-action, animation, and machine-generated imagery — exploring new frontiers in immersive, intelligent storytelling.
