Michał Owerczuk has shared the teaser for Any Given Model, an experimental AI sports short directed and edited by OverJK. Created for Machine Cinema’s GENJAM™, the project took first place in the game jam held at the Super Bowl event.
The short film draws inspiration from Oliver Stone’s sports drama Any Given Sunday. Reflecting on Al Pacino’s famous line about life being a game of inches, Owerczuk reimagined modern generative filmmaking as a noise of pixels, shaping the project into a meta sports comedy-drama about AI experimentation and tool competition.
Technically, every single sequence in Any Given Model was generated using a different AI model and a distinct pipeline, with no model repeating. The fan-made production takes place within the Machine Cinema universe and features its mascot, Schnozzo, utilized with written permission from the IP holders.
