Will AI Shut Studios Down?

At Warsaw Glitch, Michał Owerczuk takes the main stage for the panel “Will AI shut the studios down? A conversation with ATM Studio.” The session is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 12:40 to 13:10 at Teatr Szóste Piętro inside the Palace of Culture and Science.

The discussion explores the future facing production facilities, addressing whether traditional studios will close or refit in the wake of advancing technology. Key talking points include shifts in staffing, what work gets outsourced versus what runs autonomously, the types of content platforms are buying in 2026, and how final organizational structures will look.

Owerczuk, introduced as a film director, AI systems architect, and the festival’s founder and artistic director, is joined on stage by three other industry executives: ATM Studio board president Robert Moscicki, producer and former Platige Image CEO Karol Żbikowski, and Polsat Café channel director Jolanta Borowiec.
