Markus Laukkanen highlighted Warsaw Glitch and praised its main organizer, Michał Owerczuk, ahead of the three-day festival taking place from 28 to 30 August in the heart of Warsaw. Bringing together film, entertainment, technology, and artificial intelligence, the gathering features 120 panellists and over 40 international guests, with strong representation from Poland, Germany, and across the globe.
Laukkanen, who previously connected with Owerczuk while working on a project at Fairground, commended the massive effort behind the undertaking. With venues including the historic Palace of Culture and Science, Laukkanen noted the immense work required to produce an event of such scale, pointing out that Owerczuk is going all in to bring it to life.
Reflecting on Poland’s appetite for bold initiatives and its potential to become a global leader in AI cinema, Laukkanen described Owerczuk and Warsaw Glitch as prime examples of that ambitious spirit.
