The book Moja Kambodżana: Wspomnienia Weterana misji pokojowej ONZ w Kambodży, co-authored by Michał Owerczuk and Piotr Oller, was published on August 18, 2022, by the Mamika publishing house.
Categorized under military affairs, the 141-page Polish-language publication documents memories of serving as a United Nations soldier on the other side of the world during the UNTAC peacekeeping mission in Cambodia in 1992-1993. The narrative reflects on fear, longing, heroism, everyday challenges, and moments of humor under difficult conditions.
A portion of the proceeds from the book’s sales is designated to support a school in Cambodia, which also prompted the involvement of a children’s publisher in bringing the title to print.
